The Martin Group continues to grow. With its new sister company in Oelsnitz/Vogtl., the Martin Group can further expand its innovative strength and production capacities, as well as broaden its product range. The now five locations can thus further specialize.
2022 RENOVATION & REDESIGN of the administrative offices in Parsberg and the production facilities in Ebersdorf bei Coburg
2019 AUTOMATION AND INDUSTRY 4.0
In 2019, an automated assembly cell with multiple robots and welding and bonding technologies was commissioned.
2015 PLANT EXPANSION and Construction of a New Logistics Center in Rödental
In 2015, the first 800-ton servo press went into operation at Plant 2 in Rödental; further presses have since been installed in Rödental and Parsberg.
2011 ACQUISITION OF METEC UAB IN VILNIUS
In 2011, the Martin Group established its first international location with the founding of Metec UAB in Vilnius, Lithuania.
2010 ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COMPANY GROUP through the founding of Martin Stanz- und Umformtechnik GmbH in Parsberg
2008 BAVARIAN QUALITY AWARD GOES TO MARTIN
Martin Metallverarbeitung GmbH has been awarded the Bavarian Quality Award. This initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology recognizes companies that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of holistic business quality.
2005 COMISSIONING OF PLANT TWO IN RÖDENTAL
In 2005, the company acquired a new plant site in neighboring Rödental, creating the capacity for further growth.

1998 CHANGE AT THE TOP: Peter Martin takes over management
Until 1998, Helga and Günther Martin ran the family business. Then, company founder Günther Martin transferred the management to his son, Peter Martin, who was 33 years old at the time and has been the managing partner ever since.
1994 PLANT EXPANSION through the construction of the first large press plant in Ebersdorf bei Coburg
1969 COMPANY RELOCATES to new factory site in Ebersdorf bei Coburg
In 1969, the company moved to the Coburg district. The site around the former school in Kleingarnstadt offered ample space for successful expansion resulting from the company’s focus on the automotive industry and its specialization in toolmaking and stamping and forming technology.

1967 FOUNDATION in Coburg by Günther Martin
In 1967, Günther Martin and his wife Helga founded a metalworking company in Ketschengasse in Coburg.
