Company Profile

As a global specialist for metal forming and a long-standing partner of the automotive industry worldwide, we develop and produce components for e-mobility, welded and riveted assemblies, functional assemblies as well as stamped and formed parts.

Our values

The management of the Martin Group has formulated the essential principles in its corporate principles that reflect its values and which are observed by both the management itself and all employees in their daily work.

Respect

The fundamental principle for our cooperation and our relationship with business partners and society is respect for the dignity of the individual, which is reflected in human and personal rights. Accepting the diversity of lifestyles and cultures and being open to every national origin enables mutual understanding and promotes communication within the company and beyond. Every employee is obliged to refrain from all activities that directly or indirectly result in discrimination or unequal treatment. In particular, we refrain from any activities that are demonstrably linked to human trafficking, exploitation, forced or child labor. This includes all activities that – whether at the workplace or through the use of our products – can impair the safety, health or physical integrity of people.

Connectedness

Fairness, loyalty and solidarity – from both the company and the employees – are the basis for an orderly and efficient workflow. We expect our employees to contribute to the company’s success through full use of their knowledge and skills as well as through a high level of commitment and initiative. In return, we ensure good working conditions, performance-related remuneration through wages and additional benefits, and professional development. Norms on freedom of association, non-discrimination and collective bargaining apply fully. As shareholders in a family business, the personal connection and shared responsibility of all employees who work for us are important to us. Personal interests must not take precedence over the success of the team or the company as a whole. We comply with corporate social responsibility (CSR) with our social management.

Openness

A corporate culture that does not tolerate errors inevitably leads to errors being concealed and, as a result, existing potential for improvement not being used. That’s why we demand and promote mindfulness and honesty in dealing with each other and third parties.

Integrity

We reject taking advantage, bribery or corruption as well as corruption and blackmail in any form. Decisions in the company may only serve the benefit of the customer and the sustainable success of the company and must be made free of conflicting personal interests. In order to maintain their independence, employees may not request gifts or other benefits, personal services or favors from business partners that interfere with an objective and fair decision. Gifts or discounts that exceed a value of more than €20 may generally not be accepted. In the event of rejection, the respective business partner must be informed of this principle of conduct.

Responsibility

Our actions have an impact on our environment and our future. By following the principle of sustainability, we help preserve nature and biodiversity for future generations. In all production processes, we ensure that the environment is protected and resources are used as economically as possible. We strive for environmental and energy management that largely meets the following objectives: maximum waste avoidance or recycling, minimum water and energy consumption, avoidance or reduction of emissions and the use of restricted substances and chemicals.

Compliance with the rules

Compliance with the above mentioned Code of conduct and other applicable instructions are binding for all employees. Actions that contradict company principles will not be tolerated by the company and may result in legal action. It is the responsibility of every supervisor to ensure that the employees assigned to him know and observe the principles of conduct. If there are any questions regarding correct behavior, the employee should speak to their superior or the responsible human resources manager. If this does not lead to clarification, he can contact the plant management or management. Confidentiality is guaranteed for the treatment of your request.
